JPE Design Studio was one of the thirteen companies who took part in Adelaide's first ever PARK(ing) Day, a global event held each year in 140 cities across 21 counties and 6 continents.
'The event is based on the idea that paying a parking meter is like 'renting' a public space, and instead of parking a car, why not park something else?' (

The whole process from start to finish gave JPE not only a chance to be part of a public event highlighting the street environment but it also presented a study of people and their surrounding city, how they use it, what they really think of it and how we can change it for the better.
