Adelaide High School Building 4

Adelaide High's 3 level wing extension known as Building 4, has been completely renovated and extended, demolishing a cellular learning environment and replacing the internal zones with state of the art, open learning areas to house the Art Centre and Digital Hub and the Languages and Maths centres.

Through extensive workshopping and school engagement, opportunities to incorporate 21st century pedagogical learning principles were explored, taking aesthetic cues from the existing building and the new Learning Hub, and adopting a fresh approach to learning and teaching throughout the school. JPE worked very closely and collaboratively with DECD, DPTI, Adelaide High School and the Managing Contactor to define and sensitively resolve the brief and deliver this benchmark project.
