Adelaide Park Lands Management Strategy

Working closely with Adelaide City Council, JPE Design Studio had key involvement in the design direction, graphic representation and development of the Adelaide Park Lands Management Strategy - a landmark document that seeks to guide future development in a way that will make the Park Lands more accessible to all South Australians by delivering more attractions and activities that are better connected to each other and to the City and the suburbs.

The strategy develops recommendations for each Park and is strongly guided by context and connections, building off existing opportunities that can influence future use and activity. By developing a number of different landscape and movement typologies, as well as defining different types of activity hubs, each park is developed to reflect a desired future character expressed through the application of landscape, movement and connection hierarchies, and proposed future hubs of activity.This strategy has been endorsed by the City of Adelaide.
