Pulteney Grammar Quad Development
JPE Design Studio worked closely with Pulteney Grammar School to deliver the revitalisation of their historic quadrangle precinct which was completed to celebrate the schools 175th anniversary. The ‘Quad’ serves as an essential gathering space for the school community while also providing valuable green space for this land-locked city school. Transforming this underutilised paved space into a formal lawn with integrated seating, shading and improved greening plays a key role in improving campus flexibility, mitigating the urban heat effect, supporting student wellbeing and provides opportunities for integrated indoor / outdoor learning.
