History
JPE traces it beginning back to 1851. It is the oldest continuing architectural practice in South Australia. Significant historical projects include the Adelaide Town Hall, Prince Alfred College, Adelaide Railway Station, Charles Moore Building on Victoria Square (now the Sir Samuel Way Law Courts) and Hotel Australia (now being converted into 'Place on Brougham').
Today we continue to value this heritage with its tradition of quality design and long-term relationships with clients as a well-established progressive design practice operating offices in Hyde Park, Adelaide.

The Studio
The offices of JPE are located in the refurbished Abbey Church Meeting Hall in the trendy Hyde Park precinct. Although located in a heritage building, our offices are a contemporary work environment of studio based open floor plan workstations and meeting rooms.
We believe in an open work environment with design critique session on all our major projects. We actively promote our specialist skills and focus on quality design. Integral to our office environment is an ongoing program of professional development with staff having broad skills in office procedures, project based software and CAD documentation.
