The Salt Lakes Project Exhibition

This exhibition of Peter MacDonald’s extraordinary photographic artwork was entitled The Salt Lakes Project. Peter MacDonald is an environmental photographer who has lived in the Flinders Ranges for more than 25 years. He developed a reputation through his landscape images but his work now reflects a much deeper understanding of the role nature plays in the mountains and deserts over a vast area of South Australia. His Salt Lakes Project of the floods in Lake Eyre and Lake Frome have been exhibited several times and continues to be expanded. Peter looks for images that are powerful and reflect his connections with the earth and its landforms.
