Adelaide High School Performing Arts

JPE Design Studio have worked closely in collaboration with Adelaide High School to redevelop their Performing Arts Centre to create a flexible and engaging environment that responds to 21st century education expectations. The design was formed through a series of consultative workshops and meetings with school staff, administration and specialist consultants which helped identify the design themes and key project objectives.

A new history for the Performing Arts Centre, this renovation of existing cellular spaces offers multi-purpose and agile facilities that encourage creative and imaginative education, delivering vibrant areas that support students in the development of their craft. The Performing Arts Centre provides flexible learning areas and meeting rooms that promote collaboration and interaction. Giving students and teachers a sense of ownership, the new spaces encourage experimentation and can be easily transformed to cater for a range of different learning activities.
