Immersive Play for Thorndon Park Super Playground

JPE Design Studio have been working closely with Campbelltown City Council in the design for Thorndon Park Super Playground. Our concept design is driven by the sites rich cultural heritage and complex layering of narratives which have been woven into the design to create innovative story-telling and placemaking. Our concept celebrates the abundance and timelessness of the valued birdlife at the Reserve, translating this into sculptural and interactive play elements that provide a wide range of play opportunities that encourage adventure, inclusivity, and immersion.
