Located in Hallett Cove, the development of Capella Reserve will provide multiple a diverse range of community offerings including a skate park, bouldering and climbing facilities, parkour equipment along with adventure and nature play infrastructure. Activating this site, Capella Reserve will include a varied offering of both play and recreation which will cater to different ages and abilities.
This project has involved collaboration with skate designers Convic and local artist, Seb Humphreys, to develop bespoke, urban elements into the reserve. Through community consultation and engagement, the design for Capella Reserve has developed into an active youth hub and regional destination with environmental value, nature based and programmed recreation at its core. With Stage 1 currently under construction, this vibrant community asset will incorporate bespoke design elements and strengthen the existing natural qualities of the site through enhanced biodiversity.
