Vine Plaza

Our team were engaged by The City of Prospect to transform Vine Plaza, a previously dark and underutilised laneway, into a vibrant pedestrian passage and place of pause. The reinvigoration of this public space now opens up to the community, extending from Prospect Road to create an inviting and peaceful green oasis within a highly urban environment. Providing quiet relief from the busy streetfront, Vine Plaza gives valuable space for seating and relaxation, creating a serene place for contemplation and connecting back to the natural environment.

Inspired by the creative and entrepreneurial mindset of the City of Prospect, it was important for Vine Plaza to act as a blank canvas and provide opportunities for the integration of community artwork. Since opening, the community have reflected their creativity with the addition of a new mural, installations hanging from the trees and small paintings along the seating and footpaths. A key community asset for the progressive community of Prospect, Vine Plaza now provides greater opportunities and flexibility for events, markets and outdoor dining.
